If you are pitching an idea, making a proposal, selling a service, or demonstrating a product, you can be pretty sure that your audience have a very low boredom threshold. Investors, customers, steering committees or regulatory authorities have to sit through many presentations, and after a while they all blur into one.

So what can you do to make your presentation stand out? How can you make sure that your audience buy into your proposal, and remember the supporting arguments?

On our Making Your Presentations Memorable and Persuasive courses we help you to give your audience an incentive to listen to you, to keep them interested and enlivened, and to make sure they remember your story.

The content of these tailored courses is agreed with the client, and fine-tuned with the participants. However, on a typical workshop you could expect to:

• Design attractive, audience focussed central messages which grab their attention and make them hungry to hear more
• Illustrate your presentations with stories, metaphors, hooks and examples which bring the content to life, and fix themselves in the audiences memory
• Structure your presentations to cope with the natural attention fluctuations of your audience
• Justify your message with compelling arguments that funnel them towards the only realistic conclusion. Yours
• Use your voice and body to the best possible effect
• Deal with hostile, ill-informed or leading questions diplomatically and positively
• Design visual aids that enhance, rather than interfere with, what you are saying

Methods

Our training is active and tailored to individual needs. You will normally be in a group of not more than six people, and you can expect to present regularly throughout the course, using your own presentations as the material. All your presentations will be recorded on camera, and you will get feedback from an expert trainer with experience of presenting and training throughout the world. Courses normally last between one and three days.
